The MSR Hubba Hubba tent is a best selling tent, receiving the Editor's Choice Award from Backpacker. This is one of the best selling two person, 3-season tent in the past few years. So, what makes the MSR Hubba Hubba tent a best seller? This article will highlight the main features of the MSR Hubba Hubba tent and point out some of the weaknesses so you can make a decision on whether this tent is right for you.
Design
The MSR Hubba Hubba tent features a freestanding dome design. The tent is supported by poles inserted into pockets. However, once the poles are set up, you are not yet finished. You have to stake out the tent to ensure the wind does not sweep your tent away. Also, the vestibule should be staked out to make sure that it doesn't fly away if conditions are breezy.
Weight
The MSR Hubba Hubba tent is about 4 lb 3 oz. With two people, the tent weighs only about two lbs per person!
