is there a way to connect two 2 person tents together?
we have an older walrus and love it, but we also have children, one who is going to be close to three and is very independant. we don't really want to get one of those 22 room ones, but if someone knows of a nice dome one that would be good for spring time please say so. What we would really like to do instead is get him his own tent and connect them because as independant as he is, his door has to be open and he has to beable to come see us when he wakes up. so we were thinking that if he had his own tent, but could still see and talk to us, he would be fine. plus that way we wouldn't be getting a huge tent that we would only use for a few years before needing to get him his own one. any other ideas would be appreciated as well, thanks!
i meant "one of those 2 room ones" * not 22, lol
2-3 years of age is still way to young too be in a separate tent or an attached tent with it's own opening. Kids are very smart and a sound sleeper will miss a child slipping out the door in a heart beat. There are tents that you all ready have referred to with multiple sections of the tent divided by interior walls these are your best choice to use until your kids are at least 10-12 years of age. Family camping tents don't need to break the budget and Coleman is the leader in these tent type designs with stay dry guarantees and ease of set up. For you I recommend the Coleman Elite Weathermaster 6 tent it has multiple rooms and one main door and a more complicated side door to keep the little one in a screened room for napping so if your up you can keep a watchful eye.
Another option is the Eureka copper canyon again a multi room tent with one main door.
Another yet is a Swiss Gear Montreaux multi room tent again with one main door and looking very much like a small house.
